CONSUMER PROTECTION LAW
In Pakistan, we have different laws to protect and enforce the rights of consumers, such as;
The Islamabad Consumer Protection Act, 1995.
The NWFP Consumer Protection Act, 1997.
The Baluchistan Punjab Consumer Protection Act, 2003.
The Punjab Consumer Protection Act, 2005.
The Sindh Consumer Protection Act, 2007.
All the above mentioned laws are enforced in Pakistan and ‘Consumer Protection Courts’ are working in each district of Pakistan with a theme to ‘protect the consumer’.
Hence, LORDS (Professional Advocates) is providing its extensive services related to consumer protection to the clients (at the moment in Rawalpindi and Islamabad only) on a very basic/nominal charge.
