CONSUMER PROTECTION LAW

In Pakistan, we have different laws to protect and enforce the rights of consumers, such as;

  • The Islamabad Consumer Protection Act, 1995.
  • The NWFP Consumer Protection Act, 1997.
  • The Baluchistan Punjab Consumer Protection Act, 2003.
  • The Punjab Consumer Protection Act, 2005.
  • The Sindh Consumer Protection Act, 2007.

  • All the above mentioned laws are enforced in Pakistan and ‘Consumer Protection Courts’ are working in each district of Pakistan with a theme to ‘protect the consumer’.
    Hence, LORDS (Professional Advocates) is providing its extensive services related to consumer protection to the clients (at the moment in Rawalpindi and Islamabad only) on a very basic/nominal charge.
